All conference presenters and attendees need to register at ncptw.info. If you already have an account, you will log in by completing the fields on the right. If you need to reset your password, please follow the prompts to do so and check your junk mail or spam as the reset information is often filtered into those folders. If you need to create an account, you will fill in the information on the left.

Once logged in, you will see a yellow “register” button to sign up to attend NCTPW 2023. You can pay by credit card or check. If paying with a card, there is a $1 fee charged per transaction. If paying by check, you will receive an emailed invoice with instructions for mailing your payment.

There are several options for registration. Please select the one that best describes your role:

• Student registration for secondary and post-secondary students: $115
• Professional registration for secondary and post-secondary faculty, directors, and administrators as well as independent scholars: $200
• Volunteer for students or professionals who volunteer to work registration and other conference set-up/clean-ups for at least 4 hours over the entire conference window: $80
• Online registration only for those not coming to the Sheraton in person. This one-time fee gives access to the keynote and one presentation per session for Friday and Saturday to as many people at your center as needed: $150

Cost increases

Due to unforeseen escalation in costs for the conference, particularly for technology and AV, the NCPTW Board has determined that we will need to raise registration rates slightly for the conference so that the conference does not result in a financial loss for the organization. (As a nonprofit, NCPTW does not make money from the conference but uses registration fees to cover conference costs.) Registration rates have remained relatively stable over the last several years because we endeavor to keep the conference affordable for students and professionals. But with higher costs an increase is now necessary. We regret and apologize for this change but hope you understand its necessity in our changing world.

Starting Monday, July 24, 2023 at 8 a.m. Eastern registration rates will increased to

• Student: $115 (was $100)
• Professional: $200 (was $175)
• Online only (with unlimited seats for your writing center): $150 (was $125)

These new rates are considered the “early bird” rates, and registration fees will increase again by $25 at midnight Eastern September 16, 2023. No refunds of conference registration fees will be issued after October 3, 2023.

Don’t forget to book your room(s) at the Sheraton before October 9, 2023 to secure lodging at our group rate of $155/night.
