Schedule and Program


All in-person events and presentations are held at the Sheraton Hotel in Station Square or in the Station Square plaza just outside the hotel’s front doors. To book your rooms at the Sheraton, please click here and remember that the block will be released on Oct. 9, after which time the rates will increase drastically. In-Person Conference Lineup

  • Thursday, Nov. 2
    • Registration opens 5 p.m. at Sheraton Hotel in Station Square
    • Welcome event at the hotel, including free hand massages for weary travelers from 5:30-6:30 p.m (tips are accepted and appreciated).
    • We will have a private “Spooky ‘Burgh” tour in Station Square with minimal walking. After the tour, attendees can ride the incline to Mount Washington for a spectacular view of the city. Fare is $3.50 (exact change is needed). 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday, Nov. 3
    • Registration open at 7:30 a.m.
    • Breakfast available 7:30-9:00 a.m.
    • Keynote Address 9:30-11:00 a.m.
    • Concurrent sessions from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with an hour break for lunch on your own from 12:30-1:30 p.m. and an hour and a half for dinner on your own from 4:30-6:00 p.m.
    • Awards ceremony with hor d’oeuvres 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 4
    • Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
    • Breakfast available 7:30-9:00 a.m.
    • Steering committee meeting 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
    • Concurrent sessions from 9:15 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with an hour break for lunch on your own from 12:00-1:00 p.m.
    • Dinner on your own. 5:30-7:00 p.m.
    • Tutor “tailgating” social with games at the hotel from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. (wear your favorite team jersey or school’s colors)

For those who cannot travel to Pittsburgh, we are pleased to offer virtual access. The following are some of the 20+ presentations that have agreed to be recorded for our virtual attendees. Videos are a mix of pre-recorded and live workshops, panel presentations, and individual presentations. The recorded presentations will be available to all registered attendees for asynchronous viewing starting Thursday, Nov. 2 through the end of the calendar year.
