Hello, everyone! Thank you so much for joining us at this year’s NCPTW. We are so excited to announce that we’ll be using Hopin as our event platform for this year’s conference.

Registration

In order to join the event, you’ll be required to register (for free) through the Hopin site. Here are some brief instructions for how to do so. Because of time restrictions placed on events through Hopin, you’ll need to register for Days 1-3 and Day 4 separately.

First, click the link for the days you’d like to register.

You’ll be taken to the NCPTW’s homepage:

Click on “Register”

A new window will pop open

Select the “Continue as guest” option

Fill out the relevant fields

Click “Complete Order” when finished.

You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly after to verify your email address. Once you verify, you’ll receive another email to confirm your registration. Please note, this final confirmation email has a link that will only work with the email you provided and will expire in ten minutes. Please make sure to check your Junk/Spam folders.

Register multiple people:

You can also register multiple people at the same time.

On the Select Tickets screen, you can choose to add tickets.

When you choose “Continue as guest,” you’ll be taken to a screen to fill in the other attendees’ information.

Once you click on the link to confirm your registration, you’ll be taken to the reception area.

Please keep in mind that the site’s functionality is limited until the day the event starts. Scheduled sessions are now viewable on the reception page. To view a full schedule of the conference, and add sessions to your calendar, please use the following links:

Navigation

Navigating Hopin is pretty straightforward. You can find a brief video guide here: Attendee Overview (streamable.com)

From the reception page, you’ll see a panel with icons on the left-hand side.

The Reception area is a kind of welcome space. It’ll feature the schedule for the individual day’s events.

The Stage is where bigger events occur. Our welcoming remarks, keynote, and concluding remarks will happen on the stage.

You’ll be spending most of your time in the Sessions section for our synchronous presentations. This is where you’ll find information and links for different panels, roundtables, workshops, and so on.

Expo is where our asynchronous presentations will be featured. More information on these presentations will be shared when they’re officially added to the Hopin site.

Other Notes

For the best Hopin experience, unless you’re a presenter in a session, please make sure your cameras and mics are off. There is a limit to how many people can have their cameras on at a time in every session. Most sessions have a limit of 5, so only turn your camera on if you’re asking a question or making a comment.
