Approximately 195 attendees of the 2026 National Conference on Peer Tutoring in Writing have gathered at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. Eight six presentations are spread over elevens sessions Friday to Sunday morning and reflect the then of “Keepin’ it Centered @ NCTPW 2026.” As conference chair Melissa Keith puts it in her welcome “As we 
join together to share our research about the peer tutoring of writing, we simply cannot ignore the factors that have made our work increasingly more difficult as we are clearly in trying, unpredictable times.” She goes on “And, yet, falling into despair or apathy certainly won’t do any of us any good, so this year’s theme–Keepin’ Centered at NCTPW 2026–implores us to commit to finding ways to keep ourselves, and each other, centered.”
