It is with great sadness that NCPTW acknowledges the passing of Leigh Ryan. Leigh received the NCPTW Ron Maxwell Award for Distinguished Leadership Award in 2009 and has had a lasting impact on both writing centers and peer tutoring in writing. A celebration of her life will be held at UMD’s Samuel Riggs Alumni Center and will be broadcast via Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84097046302) on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm EDT with speakers starting around 2:00 pm until about 2:30 pm EDT.
